Salem Man in Serious Condition Following Crash
Of Lawrence, Mass., identified the man as Kevin Rodwell, 25.State Police said he was driving a 2001 Mazda Protégé was headed west on Route 111 when, for an unknown reason, it crossed the center dividing line, striking a 2002 Hyundai Elantra traveling eastbound head on.
Rodwell was flown by medical helicopter to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston where a spokeswoman said he was in serious condition Thursday.
The driver of the Elantra, Tracy Anne Descoteaux of Brentwood, was transported by ambulance to Lawrence General Hospital. Descoteaux’s young child was with her at the time of the crash, and was flown by MedFlight helicopter to Massachusetts General Hospital.
The Eagle-Tribune reported Descoteaux was in good condition Wednesday while the child's condition was unavailable.
The crash is being investigated by Trooper Thomas Conlon of N.H. State Police Troop A. Anyone with further information related to the crash is asked to contact Trooper Thomas Conlon at 603-223-8490 or by email at Thomas.Conlon@dos.nh.gov .
